Towel rod above the toilet…
Jill and I don’t agree on much, but we do agree that towel rods above the toilet are one of the dumbest things around. Not to mention gross. Every bathroom in the place we rent has one installed. What a waste.
And with that, I have returned to blogging. Face!
We had one above the toilet in our last place, what’s the point!? I also hate the towel hook that is installed 6 inches above the counter, that you can’t hang anything besides a small washcloth on.

We have four toilets in our 3-1/2 baths and none have a towel rack above the toilet.
Most hotels have them and even place folded towels or bath mats on the toilet tank lids. I ask for new ones.
