Weird…
That is why I was able to tell Jill I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that this girl was Mormon last night on Deal or no Deal. I was thinking about what is was that made this so obvious to every fiber of my being that she was Mormon. Here are a few:
- Frequent use of the phrase “Oh my gosh”, and “gosh”
- One kid already, obviously young, and pregnant with another on the way
- Her modest clothes
- Her over the top excitement and general weirdness
Watch the video and tell me if you see any. I mean it was just that obvious to me last night and I had no idea she was Mormon. I think I have done this once before as well but I’ll have to ask Jill. I guess I just think it’s funny/interesting how people that are LDS and usually from Utah stick out like a sore thumb anywhere outside of Utah. For another example see the latest contestant kicked of Project Runway, the gay Mormon guy with a horrible, horrible Utah accent. There Spencer a new blog!!
Oh my gosh! I can spot a mormon a mile away. We have all the new students moving in out here and the mormon girls really stand out in the crowd, they bring their kids to everything, and they only socialize with each other… Of course, everyone probably thinks the same thing about me.
